Well if you have checked thestatus.com site you know that Margaret isn’t doing very well. Please check the site for additional details. They are looking for a University Trauma Hospital that can take her. They are looking at transferring her tomorrow. She is in stable condition and her vitals are good. She is resting in the ICU unit here at Providence Hospital. She is a very strong woman and has a great spirit.
Jerry called me today at about 12:45 pm and asked if I could come to the hospital here in Anchorage. I called Grant Aviation and they had a flight leaving very soon and I was able to make it. I am very impressed with Grant Aviation and I offer my special thanks to the Kenai team.
Once here we had a great prayer and visited for a while. I was so glad to get to visit with her before the surgery. It has been a journey from the beginning. We have all prayed for her healing and are still doing so. We are standing with her and Jerry for a complete healing. That is my prayer and my desire with all my heart.
Jerry and I were walking back to the room tonight and we talked about our desire and God’s Will. Now I don’t claim to be an expert in knowing God’s Perfect Will in every situation. However we both prayer a similar prayer to the one that Jesus prayed in the Garden just before He was crucified for our Salvation. “God our will is for her to be completely healed and to remain well for many years to come but we want with all our heart Your will Father to be done.
Now don’t misunderstand us we both want her to be well and I believe it is God’s perfect will to heal her. I believe in Divine Healing is provided for us through Christ death on the cross. We are believing for that outcome with all our heart, however if God has other plans we are still trusting and believing in Him.
So many times we decide what we want and tell God what He is going to do because that is what we want! Well life just doesn’t work that way, at least not for me. So please don’t try to make deals with God or bargin with H to get Him to do what you want. Just pray tell Him what you want and trustHim!
Trusting God for His Will to be done,
Pastor Alan
