Margaretret is resting well this evening. She has had a good day overall. She had a CAT Scan due to some back pain, however it turned out clear. They found two blood clots in her right arm but they assured us there is no cause for alarm. They are working to keep her comfortable which is a big job at this stage in the journey. Jerry did an extensive interview on KTUU Channel 2 News today. It will air tomorrow night December 3, at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 pm. As we understand the6:00 and 10:00 pm will be the full length story. If you aren’t local in Alaska you can get the interview on KTUU.com.
I also received information that Mike Webb’s Memorial Service will be this Thursday afternoon. I think the time is 4:00 pm but I’m not absolutely positive on the time. There is going to be a Memorial Service for him also at CPH around the same time as I understand. Please verify the times and places before you attend. mike will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Please continue to pray for Valarie and the family. I was so blessed to meet Valarie and her daughter Christina on Wednesday. They are wonderful Christian’s and are really going to miss Mike. I know they would appreciate your prayers. To the entire Webb family I send my sincere love and prayers for the comfort from the Holy Spirit.
Jerry and Margaret wanted me to tell you all how much they love and appreciate all the comments, emails and hits on the Status Page. It really means so much for them to hear from you all. Please continue to pray for them as they face a huge recovery journey.
As for Miriam and I, we are doing well. We are tired for sure but we have the peace of knowing that we are where we need to be with Jerry and Margaret and the family. Many of you have called and emailed or commented on the Blog. These words of encouragement really mean a lot. We plan to be back in Soldotna this Friday or Saturday. I really appreciate all the staff and folks from CPH for all their support and encouragement also. It is so awesome to be part of such a wonderful community like Soldotna. When crisis comes we are there for each other. At Christmas family and friends in a community of care is so important. Thanks to you all.
God Bless Everyone,
Pastor Alan
