Pastor, even reading a page or two a day helps me to feel more connected to God. Sometimes life can be overwhelming and the last thing I want to do is read anything, but I know that is when I need my bible even more. Re-reading any book always shines a new light on something that seemed small and easy to miss, the bible is no different. There is so much information packed into every sentance that even reading it 100 times will shine new light on a topic that you thought you knew well.
